The ‘X-Men: First Class’ trailer is surprisingly good.
I’m not a big comic-movie guy, although I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot in my heart for the Marvel universe.
In the past few years, however, I’ve been pretty annoyed with how Marvel has been making their movies. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme nor reason as to how they’re deciding to make them. They’re rebooting Spider Man, they have Darren Aronofsky working on a Wolverine film that doesn’t have anything to do with the character’s X-Men Origins movie, and I’m pretty skeptical as to how The Avengers is going to come together.
Add X-Men: First Class to the mix, which is essentially a prequel to the original X-Men series. When I heard about it, I assumed it was going to be terrible.
The trailer just came out today, and to be honest, I’m a bit surprised at how decent it may actually be.
It’s no Dark Knight, but it looks like it’ll actually be relatively entertaining.
